Portsmouth Estates is proud to be a Basingstoke and Hampshire focussed organisation. As well as building and investing for the future, the estate recognises that we play a key role in our local community. Accordingly, as well as our property business and its contribution towards placemaking, we have played host to a number of charitable, fundraising and community events including: Woofs and Wellies walk and September Clay Shoot (in aid of St Michael’s Hospice), the plant fair, Zacky’s Dare to Dream, The Hatch Warren Runners Trail Run and the Basingstoke Half Marathon.
St. Michael’s Hospice Farleigh Wallop Woodland Walk 2019
St. Michael’s Hospice held its annual Farleigh Wallop Woodland Walk on the grounds of the prestigious Portsmouth Estate on Sunday, with 500 people walking either a five or 10-mile route to help raise more than £11,000 for the cause. Walkers set off from the Portsmouth Estate in the morning, taking in stunning views of the Hampshire countryside including historic woodland, rolling fields and the first of the spring bluebells, before returning to the estate’s Home Barn to enjoy a well-earned cream tea.
Well done to our tenants The Escape at Hatch Warren Farmhouse, they took on a 20km charity walk at the start of April for Naomi House and Jacksplace children’s hospices.
The Escape, accompanied by clients, friends and family walked from the company’s head office through the Hampshire countryside to Naomi House in Sutton Scotney
